In 2007, our parish was pleased to welcome what was once a small group of Catholic refugees from Myanmar and Thailand. The community is now over 180 families strong and continues to grow. They are currently comprised of 4 prayer groups according to dialect. St. Anna Prayer group is Karenni, St. Michael prayer group is K’Cho/Mindat, St. Joachim prayer group is Zo, and St. Joseph prayer group is Zomi. A small number of people from the Burmese tribe itself, Falam, Rakhaing and others are also included in the Myanmar Catholic Community. We currently offer Mass in Burmese at 2:00 pm on the first Sunday of the month, and in alternating dialects on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month. 

New this year, the community has put together and published ​the Rules and Guidelines of the Myanmar Community.
