PDO STAFF BIO’S:
“I began my career with Holy Spirit PDO in August 2005 as a two-year old teacher and music teacher for all classes. I became Director in January 2009.  I hold a Child Development Associate Credential, and am currently working toward my Director’s Credential, and an Early Childhood Associates degree! I LOVE working with our children, families and staff! The loving, caring, creative, faith-filled environment promotes the health, wellness and development of EVERYONE involved in our program. It is my belief that every child is an individual with the potential for great things! If supported, encouraged, guided and given opportunities for success and failure every child can be exactly what GOD has created them to be.” –Stephanie Browning, Director

“I’ve always felt serving children and families was my calling. After 19 years I still get excited when a child recites their ABC’s or masters a new skill for the first time.  I feel blessed, to be given the opportunity to instill a love of learning in each child. I want every child to feel loved, safe, and free to grow and develop into the best people they can be.” –Darla Price, Lead Teacher for Yellow Ducks (2-3yrs)

“I have been with the PDO program for the past 10 years. I recently completed coursework for the Child Development Associate credential and am awaiting my certificate. I love working with, and caring for, children and their families. I believe each child should enjoy a safe, loving environment in my care, as they experience learning through play. I believe in encouraging each child’s self-esteem so they grow to be successful students and community members.” – Kathy Paladino, Lead teacher for Red Dogs (3-4 yrs olds)

“I joined the PDO staff in 2006. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and have worked with children and families in a variety of ways over the last 20 years. I believe early childhood education is important to a child’s development and helps set the foundation for future school success. The curriculum for my class allows the child to experience social, emotional, and cognitive growth in order to make the transition to Kindergarten less challenging. Expect a fun, nurturing, structured environment in which all Kindergarten readiness skills are practiced.” –Gina South, Lead Teacher for Green Frogs (4-5 yr olds)
