Parish Pastoral Council
The Holy Spirit Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative group of parishioners who work with the pastor and pastoral team in all areas of parish life.  Members connect with parish committees to ensure the current needs of the parish are identified and addressed.  In addition, the council provides leadership for the parish and a vision for the future.  Membership on the pastoral council requires a three-year commitment.  Members are selected through nominations and discernment.  Contact Jane Wilson, chair, 842-3508; Bob Scheidegger, vice-chair, 781-0363; Fr. Transforming Our Church Team (TORCH)
Transforming Our Church is a team of people charged with the task of studying how Holy Spirit Church can best accomplish our Parish Mission statement. This includes looking at our spatial & liturgical needs, questions of cultural diversity in our community, issues in architecture, environment and art, and capital projects. Parkside Project Steering Committee
A committee that is overseeing our move to Holy Spirit Parkside, including architects and construction managers.  Contact Art Kunkel, chair, 782-0545.


Parish Representative to Bowling Green Deanery
Parishioner is appointed to represent Holy Spirit Parish and provide communication between the parish and the Bowling Green Deanery Council, a diocesan consultative body composed of representatives from the eight parishes in area. Each deanery council has a representative on the Diocesan Pastoral Council. Contact Lorraine Baushke at 842-2231.

Buildings & Maintenance
Oversees concerns, problems and repairs for all the buildings connected to the parish property. Coordinates with contractors, businesses and volunteers who have expertise in the areas of repairs and maintenance. Parish volunteers are needed for yard work, gardening and small projects. Stewardship Committee
The Stewardship Committee invites Holy Spirit Church members to acknowledge the bounty and grace of God in a spirit of thanksgiving. Stewardship Ministers are ambassadors for the church and stewardship, providing information to parishioners about ministries available and encouraging parishioners to share their time, talent and treasure with the church. Finance Committee

Capital Campaign Committee
Coordinates the parish campaign to raise funds for future, new and expanded parish campus. Communicates the vision, organizes and coordinates activities with parish teams and Kirby Smith Associates, integrates the annual stewardship appeal, processes the Faith Promise Cards. Office Volunteers
Come have a cup of coffee or a soft drink and help keep the parish going! Volunteer weekly, monthly, or occasionally: a morning, an afternoon or an hour! Stuff bulletins, file, prepare mailings, copy, work on the computer, serve as receptionist and answer telephones, etc. Contact Joan Neighbors, Office Assistant, 842-7777.

Money Counters

Sale of Religious Articles
In addition to the religious articles available during office hours, several times throughout year (especially for Advent/Christmas and Spring) bibles, children’s books and religious articles are available for sale on Sundays after mass.
